  8. You will see the certificate screen, Click on install certificate.
  9. Continue choosing next until you find the finish button
  10. Select the Finish button and then restart the PC
  11. Run the QuickBooks and again download the updates

Method 2: Solve the QuickBooks software

  1. Check whether the subscription is working correctly.
  2. Then, you must restart your QuickBooks Desktop Update.
  3. Confirm that the payroll service key provided is right.
  4. Select the My Payroll Service and Employees.
  5. Click on the Manage Service Key
  6. Select Edit and search for the Service Key.
  7. Select Next and click Finish. This will let to update for Payroll.
  8. Restart the system and open the Task Manager.
  9. Then, move to the processes in the Task Manager.
  10. Find for the QBwebconnector.exe file and select the End Process.

Method 3: Verify the Internet Explorer Settings

  1. Create your Internet Explorer as the default browser.
  2. Check for the Date and Time is correct in the system
  3. If wrong from the system tray, double click the time display. Make proper alterations on the date and time if needed.
  4. Select the Time Zone and make the suitable Time Zone.

Method 4: Run as an Administrator

  1. After closing the QuickBooks application. Right-click on the QuickBooks icon and select on the properties tab.
  2. Now, press the Shortcut Tab and select on the Advanced Tab
  3. Run as an Administrator, and click the box
  4. Select the Ok option and run QuickBooks
  5. Choose on Employees and select the Get Payroll Updates
  6. Select the Download Entire Payroll Update and then press Update
