background / biography
Fingers and Toes is a four member collective of old friends reunited. They have each brought distinctive sounds and colors back to Chicago from the landscapes through which they have travelled. Their organic experiments draw on roots music from all cultures, and their deep rapport with one another allows them to spontaneously improvise entire song forms. In recent months the group has focused on writing meaningful songs and developing their searching sound.
