About Teja

Everybody’s talking about Teja, the spicy young girl from East Harlem in New York City, who like a lightning bolt is shedding light on an area of the music industry that only she can influence.

Ti the delight of her fans, Teja is finally releasing two singles that will be garnering national attention and vibrating the airwaves:  “Weave” and “A Day In The Life Of A Harlem Girl.”  “Weave” is an upbeat dance tune, and is a sure-fire hit record. “Day in The Life” is a mid-tempo tune that will make the listener cry and rejoice at the same time. It is an Ode to Harlem Youth, and it is an Anthem for one and all.

“Weave” and Day In The Life” are written and produced by composer/producer, Kenny Seymour (Angie Stone, Jodeci, 98 Degrees, Chico de Barge) and lyricist Luck Mumblz of KMW Entertainment in association with A Dish-A-Tunes Music, LLC, (known for songs that we all grew up to, but most recently for songwriter Ken Williams work at one of the original writers on Alicia Keys’ 2005 Grammy Award Winning Tune, “You Don’t Know My Name.”)

Teja is no stranger to “Show Business.” She was born into a musical family; she started out as a professional model at 9 months of age and at the age of six years old, she was booked into her first movie, Mute Love, to be followed by The Followers, and Repeaters -- all in one year! From there, Teja went on to star on Television in “Rock of Ages” and “Kids Party Box.” She has appeared extensively in television commercials, and she starred in the National Tour of Rogers and Hammerstein’s “Carousel.”

Inspired by Bow Wow, Romeo, Eve, Janet Jackson and Beyonce, Teja turned her focus to music at age

11. Some of the venues where she has appeared include: The Hard Rock Café in Pittsburgh; Fort Dix Army Base in New Jersey; Pistol Pete’s in Pleasantville, New Jersey; Danny's Skylight Room, New York City; Dillon's, NYC; The Nutter Butter Games Half-Time Show, NYC; the Bridgeport Beach Fest in Connecticut; The Atlantic City Boardwalk (Convention Center); Tompkins Park Youth Center in Brooklyn; the Staten Island Naval Base; Staten Island Coast Guard; The South Street Seaport in Manhattan; and The East Harlem Chamber of Congress Street Fair to name a few. Teja was also the New York City Parks and Recreation Talent Contest Winner; and a guest artist at Talent America in New York City.

Currently, KMW Entertainment in association with A Dish-A-Tunes Music LLC announces the upcoming release of Teja’s new recordings. Hearing her new tunes and experiencing her new album is truly something that Teja’s fans won’t want to miss.
