Pudong International Airport is located in the eastern part of Shanghai, about 30 kilometers from the center of the city and 40 kilometers from Hongqiao Airport. How to arrive at Shanghai Pudong International Airport

Highway – from the north, take S1 Yingbin Expressway and Huaxia Elevated Way; from the south, take S32 (S12) Shanghai-Jiaxing-Huzhou Expressway and G1501 Shanghai Ring Expressway; or drive along the Inner-Ring Road, Luo Hill Road, the Beltway Road (A20 Road), and the Guest Road (A1 Road)
Taxi – from Long Yang Road, a taxi costs about 80 Yuan
Maglev Train – take Line 2 or Line 7 to Longyang Road Metro Station, then embark the train, a journey which will then take about 8 minutes; you can also connect to No.3 airport line which will take you to the airport in about 40 minutes
Shanghai metro – take Line 2 which runs between Shanghai Pudong International Airport and destinations such as Longyang Road, Lujiazui, People's Square, and Hongqiao Airport
Bus – 8 airport buses link the airport with various destinations in the city
Hongqiao Airport is located in the west of Shanghai, about 13 kilometers from the city center. This airport is the main hub for domestic activity, with limited international routes. Hongqiao Airport treats more than 8 million passengers every year with its waiting room made of 15 waiting halls, 18 VIP waiting halls, and 15 luggage transmission systems. Just behind Shanghai Pudong International Airport, Hongqiao Airport is the 4th busiest airport in China, with 22 airlines serving 82 destinations. as of 2010, the airport opened an expansion project which included a 3,300-meter second runway and the new Terminal 2. Today, Hongqiao is able to assist more than 40 million passengers per year.
