About Dan Weintraub
I write and play rootsy, edgy folk songs. Influences include Randy Newman, Elvis Costello, Van Morrison, Grateful Dead, Joe Jackson, Johnny Cash. My first "album" was recorded in 92 minutes---mostly first takes---in my office at work. I'm raw, but I'm old enough to know that I don't totally suck.
