About Ray McAdaragh
Dr. Ray McAdaragh has been a musician most of his life, learning to play the guitar and keyboard at the age of 15. By the time he was 17, Ray was playing in local Rock Bands, two of which had won first place in local Battle-of-the-Bands contests. This resulted in one band performing on a local televised dance show, "The Preston T Show," in Dothan, Alabama in 1969. While serving in the U.S. Army in Germany, Ray put together a Rock Band that won a Special Services European Battle-of-the-Bands contest, resulting in a Special Services Tour for the band throughout Germany in 1972. After completing his military service obligation, Ray started college in Virginia, where he began playing folk music and writing songs. He then finished his advanced degrees while working in Florida. Ray has accomplished several achievements throughout his life, and his biography has been included in the 2006 & 2007 editions of Marquis Whos Who in America, the 2006-2007 edition of Marquis Whos Who in Science and Engineering, and the 2007 edition of Marquis Whos Who in the World. Ray has continued song-writing throughout his career as an Air Traffic Controller and Aerospace Research Psychologist with the FAA and NASA, and has finally begun to publish his life's musical works. The CD "Pleromatic Journey" contains a mixture of music about life's experiences and the spiritual wisdom that they offer.
